Abstract
Chaotic signals are used to encrypt message at the physical layer to achieve security in the telecommunication technologies. To meet the needs of greater bandwidth WDM chaotic systems are employed. In this paper, a gain flattened Raman amplifier for WDM chaotic communication has been presented. Backward pumping is used to achieve a gain flatness of less than 0.3 dB through optimizing the pump power and wavelength.
