Abstract

A device (100) for acquiring a spread spectrum signal is provided, wherein the device (100) comprises a sequencing unit (101) and a correlation unit (102). The sequencing unit (101) is adapted for providing a first portion of a received signal to the correlation unit, and the correlating unit is adapted for performing a correlation between the provided first portion of the received signal and a pseudo random noise signal and for acquiring the spread spectrum signal out of the received signal.
