    Abstract

In this paper, we present four sensors for agriculture and environmental applications, which are based on different sensing concepts including microwave microfluidics, nanomaterials, and fluorescence method. The configurations and working principles of the proposed sensors are explained. The proposed solutions are characterized by good sensitivity and selectivity, as well as by simple design and cost-effective fabrication. Also, the solutions are very compact and two of them have been realized as portable devices.
