Abstract
Langasite (La3Ga5SiO14, LGS) is a highly interesting candidate for high-temperature SAW applications for example for passive, wireless sensing applications.
We have done measurements of LGS for temperatures up to 900°C from 150 MHz up to 1.2 GHz. The following temperature – dependent material parameters have been optained:
Phase velocity vp,
Transition loss α,
Coupling coefficient k²
