Abstract
Chapter 3 first outlines potential legal consequences and risks associated with automated driving and how these depend on the form of use and regulation of automated vehicles. It also deals with the requirements of automated driving for the infrastructure such as roads and parking spaces, but also for digital traffic infrastructure such as traffic signal systems, traffic control systems and communication platforms. The chapter then addresses issues related to the current and future requirements on data of autonomous driving and - linked to this - aspects of data security and cyber security. The topic of road safety in mixed traffic and with vulnerable road user groups is also examined, as are social and ethical aspects relevant to the implementation of autonomous driving (in public transport).
