Abstract
This work reports, for the first time, real time quantitative label-free in-situ detection of DNA hybridization via microcantilevers array in liquid. We present a nanomechanical assay based on Silicon microcantilevers array with 18 resonators, enabling sub-nM detection of nucleic acids in liquid environment. The presence of several cantilevers allows differential read out among multiple sensors functionalized with different biomolecules, thus providing internal control towards unspecific binding and environmental variations.
