Patrick Dominik Gsoels, received the B.Sc. and the Dipl.-Ing. (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria, in 2020 and 2023, respectively. His studies focused on microelectronics and optimisation. Since 2017 he has been working part-time for NXP Semiconductors Austria GmbH & Co KG in the field of analogue circuit layout and design. As part of his master's thesis, he filed a patent focusing on temperature drift compensation in a frequency synthesizer. In 2024, he enrolled for a PhD position on "EMC Aware Robust Electronic Systems" in the Christian Doppler Laboratory funding program offered by the Institute of Electronics at Graz University of Technology and Silicon Austria Labs GmbH. His research interests are in optimisation, surrogate modelling (machine learning), EMC simulation and circuit design.
